Mark was born in England and brought up in Roswell New Mexico, USA. It was very isolated with not much to do.

His passion for media came in his teenage years with 'Rock After Midnight', when it was possible to receive far away radio stations. This captured his imagination.

His first broadcast job in 1982 was for KRXV / KXVR, a computerized radio station in Death Valley, California between Los Angeles and Las Vegas and not because he was a brilliant DJ, but because he was an electrician and diesel mechanic - qualifications much more useful to have around a big radio station. Beginning with digital media in its’ infancy gradually Mark’s skills as an all-round online media expert have been honed and remain cutting edge.

His highest posting is as media consultant for the Chinese Government working in Beijing. While at China Radio International he guided media content and standards of western journalistic conduct.

Mark had the privilege to broadcast from the last pirate radio ship, the “Jenni Baynton” anchored off Friesland, the Netherlands, Radio Seagull 1602 AM. Here are over 100 hour long mixes to relax and download.
